Belarusians were told that vacations in the country's sanatoriums would become more expensive. And they named specific prices.
In particular, the director of the Republican Center for Health Improvement and Spa Treatment of the Population, Gennady Bolbatovsky, spoke about the cost of the vouchers.
He noted that in the outgoing year the cost of a vacation in Belarusian sanatoriums averaged 110 rubles per bed-day.
And in the fourth quarter of 2024, the average price for a standard double room is fixed at 115 rubles (per day).
During the New Year period, taking into account additional demand and services, the average value increases to 139 rubles, the director is quoted as saying by the publication Belarus Segodnya.
By the way, the prices for next year have already been approved. Bolbatovsky assures: the increase in price is insignificant - about five percent.
For adults visiting sanatoriums at the expense of the budget or social insurance fund, one day will cost approximately 80 rubles.
According to the director of the center, this price option is affordable for health improvement.
He also said that currently the highest demand is for top-class sanatoriums with the best material and technical base.
Despite the higher prices, “early booking is actively practiced there,” the specialist informed.
