Soon, it is quite possible that uniform rules for protecting consumer rights will apply to citizens of Russia and Belarus.
The fact is that such projects are being launched within the framework of the Union State, the meeting of the Supreme State Council of which will take place on December 6 in Minsk.
The State Secretary of the Union State Dmitry Mezentsev informed the general public about this, the Belta agency reports .
According to him, at Friday's meeting of the Supreme State Council, one of the issues on the agenda will be the launch of uniform consumer protection rules for the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation.
An agreement on this has already been prepared by the Belarusian Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade and the Russian Rospotrebnadzor.
It allows millions of citizens to be more protected in the system of relations with the seller, manufacturer, intermediary, supplier, explained Mezentsev.
The Secretary of State considers the innovation a “breakthrough decision” that is “truly significant and landmark.”
