The register of dangerous products prohibited for import and sale in Belarus has been expanded to include two types of Russian ice cream.
This was reported by the State Committee for Standardization's Telegram channel "Safety and Quality".
What ice cream was banned from sale in Belarus
The ban applies to two types of ice cream produced by the Russian company Dream Factory, located in Zavolzhye, Nizhny Novgorod Region.
Ice cream with blueberry flavor in a waffle cone and vanilla popsicle in milk chocolate glaze were found to be non-compliant with the requirements of the TR CU.
The examination showed the replacement of milk fat with its substitute in the amount of 99.9%, while the norm is no more than 50%.
The ban on the sale of the specified products is in effect from today.
At the beginning of October, strawberry ice cream in a waffle cone from the same manufacturer was banned.
