This autumn, the Belarusian labour market has seen a surge in demand for workers such as painters.

The State Employment Service database alone contains approximately 1,300 vacancies, with a wide range of salaries.

There are also the minimum possible 626 rubles, but there are also up to 4,500 rubles. However, they mostly offer between 1,100 and 1,500 rubles.

But we will talk about salaries a little later. Now let us briefly recall the features, specifics and working conditions of Belarusian painters.

What and where they do it

Surely many people know that the main task of a professional painter is to paint the walls of buildings, fences, pipes, walls from the inside of buildings, etc.

In addition, specialists also carry out orders from individuals, for example, from owners of cottages, country houses, summer cottages, etc.

And if we return to professional work, then, of course, we remember painters at industrial facilities, in agriculture, construction, and the housing and communal services system.

In addition, professionals can often be found in retail, catering, healthcare, education, sports, etc.

Features, specifics, conditions

It can be said that one of the key features of the profession is that one has to work with substances that are potentially hazardous to health.

Take, for example, a solvent whose vapors pose a real threat to the human respiratory system.

Another specific feature comes from the working conditions. For example, painters often work on multi-story buildings.

It is clear that working at height carries certain risks, hence the requirement for a painter to know and strictly adhere to safety rules and precautions.

In addition, workers often perform their tasks in adverse weather conditions.

If they work outdoors, they sometimes endure heat or cold, fight strong winds, and even withstand precipitation.

The same painters who paint cars and use a spray gun must work in special clothing and glasses, as well as a respirator.

Employers' requirements

One of the key ones is to carry out high-quality painting of the surface.

To complete this task, the worker must first properly prepare the surface for processing.

And if he finds any defects on it, he must fix them himself or with the help of a plasterer.

By the way, modern realities are such that in order to optimize the work process, the functions of both specialists are combined, which is why very often a painter-plasterer is hired.

They also require a professional to carry out painting in strict accordance with the design project.

Of course, employers require that employees know the technology of applying paints and finishing materials, as well as the composition of the substances with which they perform the assigned tasks.

Salaries

As noted above, this autumn Belarusian painters are offered salaries from the minimum of 626 to 4,500 rubles.
