The Ministry of Taxes and Duties of Belarus has issued important information concerning many of its compatriots.

In its official Telegram channel, the department's press service announced increased control by tax authorities until the end of 2024.

Compliance with legislation is now more closely monitored in the following cases:

– acceptance of means of payment;
– using payment terminals;
– marking of goods with unified control marks and identification means.

In this regard, “control measures” are being carried out “in relation to retail facilities.”

The Ministry of Taxes and Duties separately noted that when conducting administrative proceedings against business entities that violated the law, the measures they took to replace cash register equipment will be taken into account.

If appropriate measures were not taken, i.e. the said equipment was not replaced, violators may be held “maximum liable” in accordance with the law, the ministry reported.
