Some categories of citizens have priority rights to vacation in the summer or at another convenient time.
The press service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection reminded about this on Telegram.
Who has priority right to summer vacation?
Firstly, this right is enjoyed by minors; mothers/stepmothers raising two or more children under 14 years of age; mothers/stepmothers and fathers/stepfathers raising a minor child with disabilities.
Secondly, the following people may count on a summer vacation: veterans of the Great Patriotic War; veterans of military operations in other countries; participants in the liquidation of the consequences of the disaster at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant; those who suffered from radiation sickness caused by the consequences of the disaster at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant/other radiation accidents; disabled persons for whom a causal relationship has been established between the injury/disease that led to disability and the disaster at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant.
Thirdly, the number of persons with priority includes those evacuated and resettled/independently left the territory of radioactive contamination from the evacuation, primary and subsequent resettlement zones (except for those who arrived in these zones after January 1, 1990).
Fourthly, summer leave is granted to blood donors who have the honorary badge “Honorary Donor of Belarus”, the chest badge of distinction of the Ministry of Health “Honorary Donor of the Republic of Belarus”, the badges “Honorary Donor of the USSR”, “Honorary Donor of the OKK BSSR”.
In addition, full holders of the Order of Glory, Labor Glory, Fatherland, Heroes of the USSR, Heroes of Belarus, Heroes of Socialist Labor and other employees have the priority right to vacation in the summer in accordance with legislative acts/labor contract/collective agreement.
