Who can apply for a rental apartment?
As the head of the Ministry of Architecture and Construction explained, those in need of improved housing conditions have priority rights.
However, nominally, anyone can apply for a rental apartment if it is available in the district executive committee.
In addition, there are 11 categories of citizens who have an out-of-turn right to receive rental housing, the minister specified.
According to him, the district executive committee, having available rental housing, displays it on its resources, collects applications from applicants over a certain period of time, and then provides housing to certain citizens based on the category.
First of all, those out of turn, then those in need of better housing conditions, and then everyone who wants it, Parkhamovich summed up.
