The situation on the borders of Belarus with the countries of the European Union remains tense.

We are talking about the queues of vehicles. By ten o'clock in the morning on December 16, 4,090 trucks had accumulated there.

The press service of the State Border Committee reported this on its official Telegram channel.

The agency notes that over the past weekend the queue of trucks waiting to enter European countries has grown by 365 units.

The State Border Service names the Polish checkpoint “Kukuryki” (on the Belarusian side – “Kozlovichi”) as the busiest direction.

Since Friday, the control services of the Medininkai (Kamenny Log) and Šalčininkai (Benyakoni) checkpoints have accepted only 18% of trucks into their territory, the State Border Guard Service noted.
