Aide to the President of Russia and Chairman of the Russian Military Historical Society Vladimir Medinsky has allowed for a reduction in the duration of education in schools and higher education institutions.
The Russian presidential aide made the corresponding statement on September 24 at a meeting with young people and regional activists of the Russian Military Historical Society as part of the Arctic Dialogue project.
Medinsky's statement is cited by TASS .
What Medinsky said about reducing the duration of education
The Russian presidential aide said that the reduction in the duration of education in schools is dictated by time.
The fact that we have 11 years is an unaffordable luxury, ” he noted.
According to the head of the Russian Military Historical Society, young people should begin to engage in career guidance earlier.
Five- to six-year higher education, Medinsky continued, will also become a thing of the past in the coming decades.
Education will be compressed in time and more specialized, added the aide to the head of the Russian state.
