Alexander Lukashenko addressed the residents of the Brest region and congratulated them on the 85th anniversary of the formation of the region.
The President called the western edge of the country “a land with a unique history and a rich cultural and spiritual heritage.”
According to him, hardworking and talented people have lived here since ancient times.
And during the Great Patriotic War, the region became an outpost of a “huge state” – the Brest Fortress symbolizes courage and devotion to the Fatherland.
