The second month of autumn turned out to be quite warm for residents of Belarus.
The weather was pleasant and perfect for walking in the parks.
However, in the coming month the weather conditions are unlikely to be so good.
It is possible that November will turn out to be the most unpleasant month of autumn 2024 in terms of weather.
Belarusian meteorologist Dmitry Ryabov shared this information on the ONT TV channel.
What will November 2024 be like?
This month can be called transitional: it’s not autumn anymore, but it’s not winter yet.
However, usually in November you already feel that the frosty season is quite close.
This is likely to be the case this time too. According to the forecast, the average November temperature will be 6 degrees lower than October.
However, the figure is expected to be one to one and a half degrees higher than normal.
Thus, in the north and east of Belarus, -1…+3 degrees are predicted, and in the south and west of the republic - from +3 to +6 degrees.
In our country, the onset of meteorological winter (when the average daily temperature passes through zero towards negative values) occurs on average in mid-November. The exception is the southwest of the republic: the final third of the month.
According to the forecast, in the final month of the calendar autumn of 2024, the amount of precipitation will be above average. It is expected that there will be 16-20 days with precipitation (snow, sleet). It is possible that such weather phenomena will be accompanied by increased winds.
Ice and fog may form at night and in the morning.
The coming month may be associated with unstable weather due to stormy cyclones.
