Dilapidated houses will not be taken into account when determining the right to early use of family capital to improve housing conditions.
This was reported by Svetlana Koval, Deputy Head of the Department of Population, Gender and Family Policy of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Belarus, commenting on the decree on extending the family capital program.

How the conditions for using family capital for housing will change
As Koval explained, the decree provides for a relaxation of the conditions for determining the total area of housing owned by a family.
Thus, from January 1, housing that is unfit for habitation will not be taken into account.
As before, families who are registered as needing better housing conditions, and who do not own housing with a total area of 15 square meters (in Minsk – 10) or more per person, etc., can use family capital to improve their housing conditions.
The amount of family capital for next year will be published on the Ministry of Labor website no later than January 31.
