It recently became known that Lithuanian control services have resumed processing trucks at two checkpoints on the border with Belarus.
We are talking about the Medininkai checkpoint (from the Belarusian side – Kamenny Log) and Šalčininkai (Benyakoni).
The press service of the State Border Committee of Belarus reported this on its official Telegram channel.
At the same time, the department notes that the Lithuanian side processes transport very slowly.
Thus, from seven to half past nine in the evening on November 19, only four trucks drove from the Benyakoni checkpoint to exit into Lithuania.
The State Civil Procedure Code notes that during the specified time period, there was no movement to enter Belarus.
As for the Kamenny Log checkpoint, ten heavy-duty trucks entered the Baltic republic in those two and a half hours.
In the opposite direction – from Lithuania to Belarus – 19 trucks traveled, the Border Committee reported.
For reference
The Belarusian-Lithuanian border is the state border between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Lithuania, with a length of 678.819 km.
