In December, Belarusians can expect innovations in paying for housing and communal services, freezing of interest rates on loans, and new travel routes.
We talk about these and other changes in our traditional digest.
Reduction of housing and communal services fees for vacant housing for incapacitated owners
The changes will affect incapacitated citizens who permanently reside in social service institutions and who own empty housing.
Legal representatives of such citizens have the right to apply to the RSC at the location of their housing with an application to have the fee for technical maintenance and heat supply calculated at subsidized rates.
If there are no gas, water and electricity meters in the apartment, the fee for such utilities will not be charged. The rule will come into effect on December 1.
Freezing of interest rates on loans
The National Bank did not change the calculated values of standard risk for December. This means that interest rates on loans will remain the same.
Increase in funeral benefits
Next month, this social payment will increase by 49.5 rubles and will amount to 2,363.4 rubles.
Fine for summer tires
Drivers are required to switch to winter tires by December 1. Violation of this requirement is subject to a fine of up to 1 BV (40 rubles).
