Winter is coming. It can be felt. Even the first snow fell in Belarus the other day. And at night frost made inroads.
And what awaits the country next week – from November 18 to 24? Alas, there will be little that is pleasant.
At least, this is what follows from the information voiced by the famous weather forecaster Dmitry Ryabov on the ONT TV channel.
Bad weather is coming
According to him, many days of the coming week will pass under the sign of changeable and inclement weather.
The wind will blow again (strong gusts are possible), precipitation will fall (snow and rain), ice will appear, and at night and in the mornings – fog.
As for the temperature, the meteorologist notes the following: in the first half of the week – about 0 degrees, frost at night, slightly above zero during the day.
It will get significantly colder in the second half of the week, Ryabov warned his compatriots.
First half
Speaking about its first half, he predicted cloudiness and rain with wet snow in many areas of the republic.
The specialist also expects morning fog with high humidity (up to 90%). However, the wind will be moderate (southwest).
At night, thermometers across the country will show from -1 to +5 degrees, during the day on Monday – up to +5, on Tuesday – from +2 to +7 degrees.
Middle and second half
The middle of the week will bring Belarusians cloudiness, precipitation, strong gusty wind, fog and ice. Humidity these days is up to 80%.
Nighttime air temperatures range from -1 to +4 degrees, on Wednesday afternoon – up to +4 degrees.
At the beginning of the second half of the week it will get colder, snow and sleet are possible.
But the wind, which will blow from the west and northwest, will die down to moderate (only occasional gusts).
Humidity – up to 80%. Temperature at night – from 0 to 5 degrees below zero, on Thursday and Friday during the day – around zero.
Weekend
Next weekend, weather conditions in Belarus will worsen. Cloudy weather with snow and sleet is expected.
All this will be accompanied by a raging northwest wind, gusty and angry.
At night and in the morning, some locations in the country will be shrouded in fog. Air humidity on the weekend will be up to 90%.
Nighttime temperatures range from 0 to -6 degrees, on Saturday afternoons – from -1 to +1 degrees, on Sunday afternoons – around zero.
