How confident are Belarusians in their future – survey data

A public opinion poll showed that almost 80% of Belarusians are confident about the future and believe that life will change for the better.

Among other things, respondents were asked to answer the question: how will life change in the future?

The results of the sociological study were published by BELTA with reference to the director of the EcooM analytical center, Sergei Musienko.

As part of the study, citizens were asked to answer the question: “How do you think your life will change in the future?”

79.2% of Belarusians surveyed are confident that life “will change for the better or will not get worse.”

A more pessimistic forecast was expressed by 5.7% of respondents. They believe that life will “change for the worse.”
15.1% of respondents were unable to make a choice and fell into the “I find it difficult to answer” column.

According to Sergei Musienko, the results of the study indicate that “Belarusians are confident in their well-being, their families, children, and the country.”

The positive answer given by 79.2% of respondents speaks of the development of healthcare, education, and culture.

The study was conducted between October 1 and 21 of this year and involved 1,580 respondents of different genders, ages, education and regions of residence.
