Recently, Belarusian users of Google AdSense, a well-known platform for contextual advertising, received an email notification from the American corporation.
They were informed that all AdSense and AdMob Ad Manager accounts of users from Belarus will be deactivated on December 13, 2024.
This means that monetization through such accounts will become impossible, the company explained.
As for the income for December, it will be paid approximately between January 21 and January 26 of next year.
But here too there is a condition. To receive a payment, the account must not have any payments suspended, and the payment thresholds (minimum amounts for withdrawal of funds) must be reached.
Earlier, Google AdSense left the Russian Internet space.
Then, in August 2024, Russian users received a similar notification (also by email).
Their accounts have been deactivated. The last payments were received between August 21 and 26.
As reported by Russian media, the decision to deactivate "has a significant impact on video bloggers and website owners from Russia."
This category of citizens is completely deprived of the opportunity to use the services of the Google AdSense advertising network, the publications indicated.
