A 39-year-old resident of the city of Gomel did not benefit from agricultural experience and knowledge.
The man decided to start growing drug-containing crops and equipped a room for this purpose, right in the rented office.
Soon the agronomist came to the attention of the drug control officers of the Central District Department of Internal Affairs of the city of Gomel, the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus reports.
Despite the conspiracy, the 39-year-old “drug agronomist” from Gomel was detained.
When law enforcement officers raided the office rented by the suspect, they discovered a room specially designated for growing narcotic plants.
During the events, hemp bushes were discovered and confiscated.
Along with this, the necessary equipment for farming, lighting fixtures, containers with soil, as well as growboxes, which were made from the cases of system units, were discovered.
Among other things, smoking equipment was found.
A criminal case has been opened for illegal drug trafficking.
During the investigation, it was revealed that the detainee had been convicted of a similar crime previously committed.
Law enforcement officers are checking the identity of the detainee for involvement in the sale of prohibited substances.
