In particular, residents of Brest and Grodno will be treated to rain, while residents of Vitebsk and Mogilev will be treated to snow and sleet turning into rain.
Regarding Minsk, it is known that the third day of the current December week in the capital is forecast to be without any serious precipitation.
There is a probability of their falling in Minsk, but it is small – forecasters cite figures from 10% to 15%.
In Gomel, too, according to their data, dry weather is expected tomorrow.
At the same time, experts warn that on December 18, Belarusians will be faced with black ice and icy conditions (on certain sections of roads).
The wind is forecast to be northwesterly, changing to southerly. In gusts, its speed will be from 14 to 18 meters per second.
Nighttime air temperatures across the country range from -4 to +4 degrees; daytime temperatures range from -4 to +7 degrees.
Cities
Residents of Minsk can expect cloudy weather with clear spells tomorrow, no precipitation (low probability), but there will be ice and strong winds (up to 12 m/s).
On December 18, the capital's thermometers will record temperatures between -1 and +1 degrees.
In Brest, against a background of cloudiness (with clearings), there is a high probability (80%-90%) of rain.
In addition, the city will experience wind (up to 12 m/s) on the Bug. Temperatures will range from +5 to +7 degrees.
Vitebsk: partly cloudy, snow in the morning, sleet turning into rain, but no precipitation during the day.
But there will be black ice, icy conditions and strong winds (up to 14 m/s). In the northern capital it will be a little frosty – 1-3 degrees below zero.
In Gomel, the weather will be cloudy with clearings. No precipitation is expected, but ice is possible. Plus strong wind (up to 12 m/s).
Thermometers in the southern regional center of Belarus will show from +1 to +3 degrees tomorrow.
In Grodno, Wednesday will be cloudy (with clearings) and rainy. The wind will accelerate to 12 m/s. But it will be warm – from +4 to +6 degrees.
In Mogilev, the weather conditions will be almost identical to those in Vitebsk, with the exception of air temperature – from 0 to +2 degrees.
