Belarus has tightened requirements for mobile operators in terms of connection quality.
The amendments affected the state standard STB 1904-2022 "Cellular mobile telecommunication services. Quality requirements and control methods."
The changes were made by the State Committee for Standardization.
The corresponding document was officially published on the republic’s legal Internet portal.
The standard has been amended to more clearly define the requirements for data transmission and communication standards in different circumstances.
In particular, it is stated that the volume of unsuccessful calls from the total number should not exceed six percent.
The volume of calls that do not meet the standards for connection establishment time should not exceed 5% of the total number.
As for the volume of calls that ended with the disconnection of an established connection not at the subscriber’s initiative, its maximum is set at 3%.
The innovations initiated by the State Standard will come into effect in the country on December 1 of this year.
