Residents of Belarus have been warned: bank cards may not work in the country tonight, November 30.
Problems with their operation are possible from 03:20 to 6:00 am on Saturday.
This was reported by the press service of the Bank Processing Center.
Experts say that the temporary inconvenience is due to the planned technological work on the center’s network equipment for the specified period of time.
It is noted that there may be short-term “interruptions in service” of bank cards.
Also, the cards will not work in the chain of stores, ATMs and self-service devices serviced by the center.
Due to the expected event, bank card holders are advised to use alternative payment methods during the above mentioned time period.
For reference
A bank card (card) is a plastic, metal or virtual card, usually linked to one or more bank accounts, used to pay for goods and services, including via the Internet, money transfers, cash withdrawals, etc.
