Internet roaming rates in the Union State will be brought as close as possible to home network rates in Belarus.
The first deputy head of the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the republic, Pavel Tkach, informed his compatriots about this.
On air at First National, he recalled that some measures had already been taken regarding voice messages.
As a result, according to him, from April 1, 2022, quite comfortable tariffs for voice calls will be offered.
Thus, a Belarusian in Russia gets 40 free minutes. Then there is preferential tariffing (about 11 kopecks per 1 minute).
An outgoing call to Belarus will cost approximately 22-27 kopecks, which, in the opinion of the First Deputy Minister, is a fairly low rate.
He noted that the issue of increasing the number of free incoming minutes must be resolved by March 1, 2025.
The Internet in roaming will be as close as possible to the tariffs used in the home network in the Republic of Belarus, the official promised.
