The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus has addressed its compatriots with an important recommendation.
Citizens are advised not to visit Israel unless absolutely necessary and to refrain from traveling to this country.
The Foreign Ministry cites the escalation of the conflict on the Israeli-Lebanese border as the reason for this.
In this regard, the Belarusian embassy in Israel reminded its compatriots of the recommendation on August 8 of this year, writes Belta.
At that time, Belarusians were advised not to visit Israel unless absolutely necessary and to “make decisions about traveling to this country based on the development of the current situation in the region.”
Diplomats suggest that those citizens of Belarus who live or are temporarily in Israel follow the recommendations of local authorities.
Separately, please note that it is necessary to observe personal safety rules.
Belarusians were also reminded of the emergency consular assistance telephone number of the Belarusian Embassy in Tel Aviv: +972 50 521 48 19 (available 24 hours a day).
