How the rules for receiving salaries may change in Belarus
The possibility of changing the legislation in the area of settlements with employees working under contracts is being considered.
The fact is that such relationships between employer and employee are not covered by Decree No. 3 on measures to ensure timely payment of wages.
In this regard, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection often has its hands tied: it cannot respond as effectively as it does to requests from officially employed workers.
To solve this problem, the State Control Committee initiated a change in legislation.
Thus, it is proposed to introduce administrative liability for non-payment of wages under civil law contracts.
In addition, it is proposed to extend the effect of Decree No. 3 to cases of late payments under contracts.
Earlier it became known that from January 1 of next year the minimum wage will increase to 726 rubles.
Also, from January 1, the base rate, which affects the salaries of public sector employees, will increase to 270 rubles.
