By the way. Today, such benefits are paid to 360,000 children.
The figure shows that the payment of child benefits in the Social Security Fund budget is in second place among expenses after pensions.
On the air of the Belarus 1 TV channel , the head of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection Natalia Pavlyuchenko reported that next year it is planned to spend 6 billion rubles from the fund’s budget on paying out various benefits.
Of this amount, 3.2 billion rubles are allocated for the payment of family benefits.
And 1.9 billion rubles will be allocated for benefits for families raising children under 3 years of age.
According to the minister, the Social Security Fund budget for 2025 provides that a family will receive a one-time benefit of 6,000 rubles (on average) upon the birth of their first child.
Of this amount, about 5,200 rubles is the one-time benefit plus benefits for women who registered before 12 weeks of pregnancy.
And the monthly allowance, according to the head of the department, could amount to about 815 rubles.
When a second or subsequent child is born into a family, the one-time benefit may reach 8,200 rubles.
It is explained: the family will receive 7,000 rubles at one time, and about 1,200 rubles per month for children.
