In Belarus, adjustments have been made to the organization of the operation of mobile speed control sensors.
The innovations include a new placement of warning signs and the installation of a special plate.
The press service of the Brest Regional Executive Committee Internal Affairs Directorate warned fellow drivers about this in its official Telegram channel, citing the State Traffic Inspectorate.
So, the key innovation is that road sign 1.36 “Control of the established speed of movement of vehicles” will be installed together with sign 7.2.1 “Area of effect” from December 1.
The distance on the sign, depending on traffic conditions and the location of the sensors, can vary from 300 meters to 1.5 kilometers, the department noted.
That is, along this section of the road, there will be a speed camera in some place, and therefore you shouldn’t drive recklessly.
This is, in fact, what is stated in the regional police department’s message, with the clarification that the specific location of the radar installation may change.
