In Belarus, the mandatory list of goods for sale in stores has been expanded.
The decision is stipulated in the decree of the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade No. 46 dated July 8 of this year.
This document, published on the legal Internet portal of the republic, amends the MART resolution “On the lists of goods” (No. 74 of November 19, 2020).
One of the innovations is the replacement of the concept of “product assortment lists”.
Now, instead of it, the concept of “lists of goods that must be available for sale in a retail outlet” is used.
Changes have also been made regarding the accounting of goods produced outside the EAEU member countries.
The legislative requirements regarding the circulation of alcoholic beverages have also undergone adjustments.
The Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade noted that the resolution establishes lists of goods that must be included in the mandatory list of goods.
At the same time, product range lists are excluded.
At the same time, the lists that must be included in the mandatory list of goods are being significantly expanded.
In connection with the latter, trade entities are required to develop new mandatory lists of goods, the ministry explained.
The MART resolution will come into force two months after its official publication.
