Belarus Bans Sale of Some Children's Toys from China

The State Standardization Committee of Belarus has banned the sale of some children's toys made in China.

This was reported by the State Standard Telegram channel “Safety and Quality”.

What Chinese toys have been banned from sale in Belarus

Wooden toys of the “Shchepochka” brand and a construction set with the OUBAOLOON marking have been added to the register of dangerous products prohibited for import and sale in Belarus.

All toys included in the ban are intended for children over three years of age.

The manufacturer is the Chinese company OUBAOLOON IMPORT-EXPORT TRADING CO., LTD.

The specified products do not meet the requirements of the TR CU for the indicator “level of formaldehyde migration into the air”.

The order to remove the toys from sale comes into effect on November 18.
