A popular Russian-made wine drink has been added to the register of dangerous products prohibited for import and sale in Belarus.
The ban came into force today, the State Committee for Standardization’s Telegram channel “Safety and Quality” reports.
What drink was banned from sale in Belarus
The ban includes white semi-sweet drinks Santo Stefano from the “Roman Holiday” and “Sicilian Wedding” collections.
This drink is produced by the joint-stock company Eurasian Alcohol Group (Moscow region).
The products were found to be non-compliant with the TR CU safety requirements.
The drinks contain preservative E220 (sulfur dioxide), which is unacceptable for this type of product.
For the same reason, in October, the sale of the red semi-sweet drink of the same brand was banned.
