As part of the charity event "Back to Back" in Belarus, humanitarian aid was collected for residents of the Kursk region.
The project was initiated by the public association "Belaya Rus" and the political party of the same name.
According to the head of Belaya Rus, member of the House of Representatives Oleg Romanov, more than 150 tons of humanitarian aid were sent to the Kursk region.

According to his data, the humanitarian aid collected in Belarus is valued at 1.5 million rubles in monetary terms.
The deputy clarified that this money was used to purchase household appliances for citizens currently located in temporary accommodation centers.
Thus, refrigerators, heaters, washing machines, kettles, stoves, etc. were purchased.
In addition, food was purchased, in particular, canned goods, cereals, and baby food.
In addition, the humanitarian aid included medicines, personal hygiene items, warm clothes, and bedding.
According to Romanov, nine trucks have been sent to Russia in the last few weeks.
"National scope"
The money that remains in the charity account is planned to be used to improve the health of children from the affected regions in Belarus. One of the sanatoriums in the Vitebsk region is named.
The deputy separately noted that the charity project has acquired “nationwide scope.”
He was joined by “large work collectives, which do not even have our primary organizations,” schoolchildren, students, pensioners, and law enforcement agencies.

It is noted that the “Back to Back” campaign was supported by the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in Belarus, the Russian Humanitarian Mission and the United Russia party.
