On November 21, another battery of Tor-M2 air defense systems arrived in Belarus.

Where the new Tor-M2 battery will go on duty
As reported by the Defense Ministry, the Tor-M2 SAM battery can simultaneously hit 16 targets operating from any direction at a speed of up to 370 meters per second at an altitude of up to 10 kilometers and a range of up to 12 kilometers at any time of day and in any weather.
The distinctive features of the Tor-M2 air defense system are: short reaction time, effective firing at a wide range of targets, automation of combat operations and high mobility.
According to the commander of the Air Force and Air Defense Forces, Major General Andrei Lukyanovich, the new battery of the Tor-M2 air defense missile system will go on combat duty in the near future.
It will provide air defense coverage for the city of Minsk, the general said.
He noted that the received systems were modified taking into account the experience of use in the Air Defense Forces.
Including small-sized aircraft, ” Lukyanovich added.
