It is prohibited to hang banners about renting or selling an apartment on balconies, windows and facades of residential buildings.
The head of the administration of the Sovietsky district of Minsk, Sergei Khilman, recalled this during a tour of the area by the district commission.
His statement is quoted by the Minsk-Novosti agency.
What you can't hang on balconies and windows
As Hilman explained, advertising banners (“For Rent,” “Apartment for Sale,” “We Are Open,” etc.) cannot be displayed on balconies, windows, and facades of residential buildings.
All of this is illegal, ” noted the head of the Sovetsky District administration.
The website of the Sovietsky District of Minsk reports that the placement of unauthorized advertising entails administrative liability in the form of a fine.
The fines are quite large: for individuals – up to 25 base units, for individual entrepreneurs – from 10 to 50 base units, for legal entities – from 25 to 100 base units.
