The head of the Belarusian state, Alexander Lukashenko, extended the validity period of the family capital program.
The program has been extended for the next five years: until 2029 inclusive.
The Belarusian leader signed the corresponding decree on Wednesday, October 30, the presidential press service reported .
What innovations are provided for by the Presidential Decree?
The decree provides for expanded opportunities to use family capital funds to improve housing conditions.
Thus, the right to use these funds ahead of schedule for the construction of housing appears, regardless of whether there is a direction from the local government for such construction.
In addition, the document provides for the following: family capital funds can be used to purchase shares of residential premises if the family already owns shares of the corresponding housing.
There is also the following permission: to use the funds to pay off certain housing-related loans.
In addition, the document establishes the rights of children to residential premises that were built or purchased using family capital funds.
The Decree also provides for the following opportunity: to pay for tuition for the next academic year if the family capital is directed towards obtaining an education (at the moment, tuition can be paid for the current and previous years).
