It is possible that during this period people will have the opportunity to see a meteor shower.
The fact is that the peak activity of the Orionid meteor shower should occur on the first night of the new week.
BELTA reports this with reference to data from the Moscow Planetarium.
Weather permitting, the meteor shower will be visible above the southeastern horizon from 00:00 until morning twilight.
What could an astronomical phenomenon be?
Experts do not rule out that it will be possible to replace 15-20 meteors in 60 minutes.
It is emphasized that the high activity of the Orionid meteor shower, observed every October, usually lasts for several nights.
However, it is noted that it may be much more difficult to observe the meteor shower on the night of October 22. The reason is the appearance of the Moon above the horizon after six in the evening on October 21.
