"Maybe we'll meet there someday": Lukashenko said he'd be happy to visit Antarctica

On Thursday, October 17, the head of state Alexander Lukashenko met with scientists and participants of Belarusian Antarctic expeditions.

The President emphasized that he is interested in hearing from polar explorers and scientists what information they have received can be used in the scientific field and in everyday life.

The Belarusian leader admitted that he is also interested in people’s personal impressions.

Lukashenko has no doubt that the polar explorers who worked in difficult conditions have something to tell.

The President of Belarus also made such an interesting statement: he himself would be happy to visit Antarctica.

Maybe someday we will meet there, Lukashenko told the meeting participants. The head of state's words are quoted by BELTA .

The state leader added that in this case, opportunities for more detailed discussions will arise.

In addition, according to the President, it will be possible to “touch” everything that exists and can be reached on the white continent.

Alexander Lukashenko expressed gratitude to polar explorers and scientists for their work. The head of state emphasized that they make a significant contribution to unraveling the mysteries of the Earth.
