The number of partner births is increasing in Belarus.
This was reported by Diana Mardas, senior lecturer at the Belarusian State Medical University, obstetrician-gynecologist, founder of the MAMA PRO project.

Mardas noted that there are no general statistics on the number of partner births yet.
But, of course, the trend is upward, ” the doctor said.
In particular, in the maternity hospital of the 5th City Clinical Hospital of Minsk, 17-18% of the total number of births are partner births.
The doctor reminded that partner births are recommended by the World Health Organization.
Of course, we want if not 100%, then close to it, of births to be partner births, noted Mardas.
