The register of dangerous products prohibited for import and sale in Belarus has been expanded with one Belarusian and two Russian laundry detergents.
The press service of the State Committee for Standardization reported this on Telegram.
What detergents have been banned from sale in Belarus
According to the State Standard, the concentrated liquid detergent Alpi White Gel for white laundry and the Dory concentrated gel for colored laundry have been added to the register.
The manufacturer of both products is the Volgograd limited liability company TD Grass.
The labeling states that the products are intended for machine washing. However, the products did not pass the test for the "foaming capacity" indicator: it ranged from 197 mm to 206 mm, with the standard being no more than 180 mm.
Products may not be safe for front loading washing machines.
Belarusian washing capsules of the Kuper Clean Universal brand, manufactured by Minsk-based Eclipse Chemicals LLC, also failed the test for the foaming capacity indicator: it was 226 mm, while the standard is no more than 180 mm.
The specified funds are prohibited from import, circulation and sale in the country and are subject to confiscation. The ban comes into force on October 21.
