So-called electric houses are appearing in Belarus, in which electrical energy is used for cooking and heating.
However, one should not expect that such facilities will soon be built everywhere. Belenergo considers such a decision to be wrong.
BELTA reports on the prospects for the widespread construction of electric houses in Belarus, citing a statement by Alexander Mikhnyuk, deputy chief engineer of the Belenergo State Production Association.
The construction of houses in which electricity is used for heating and cooking was discussed in the Council of Ministers.
A working group was previously created, and the first conclusions were already made during the discussion.
As Alexander Mikhnyuk explained, if there is a centralized heat supply in the development area and it is gasified, then it is faster and more profitable to connect to these communications.
Therefore, the widespread construction of electric houses is the wrong decision.
Connecting to existing centralized gas and heat supply communications is not only profitable.
The solution allows “optimizing the costs of supplying thermal and electrical energy.”
“The sources are simply loaded, there is no need to build anything additional, just connect the networks and use them,” the official explained.
