The register of dangerous products banned from import and sale in Belarus has been expanded with clothing from three well-known Polish mass-market brands: House, Reserved and Sinsay.
They are produced by the company LPP. Not all products of the above brands were banned, but only individual items.
What clothes are prohibited for sale
As reported by the press service of the State Standardization Committee on Telegram, the children's jacket and vest of the Reserved brand were banned due to non-compliance with hygroscopicity requirements.
That is, the clothes absorb and release moisture worse than required. With a standard of at least 6%, these items have 2.6% and 1.5%, respectively.
Sinsay women's pajamas also failed the test due to non-compliance with the requirements for hygroscopicity: with a standard of at least 6%, they had 1.1% and 1.6%.
For the same reason, women's pajamas from House were included in the register: with a standard of no less than 6%, they had 3.3% and 3.5%.
All these products are prohibited from import and sale, those already imported will be withdrawn from circulation. The ban comes into force on October 14.
