Future Belarusian teachers are planned to be taught, among other things, hairdressing, the basics of makeup and style in general.
A corresponding cultural and educational project is already functioning at the Belarusian Pedagogical University.
It is aimed at creating the image of a modern teacher. It is called "Harmony. Style. Perfection".
It consists of lectures and trainings from teachers of the National School of Beauty for students of different courses and faculties, Belarus Segodnya reports .
The project, by the way, has expanded and is now also operating in pedagogical colleges and universities in the Minsk region.
According to the director of the National School of Beauty, Božena Jeremic, students are taught subjects related to the basics of style, make-up, hairdressing, speech image and speech etiquette.
These are the basic fundamental disciplines that, in our opinion, our modern teachers should know and possess,” she said.
The specialist hopes that future teachers will pass on this knowledge to the younger generation of Belarusians.
She also announced plans to expand the project to regional centers of the country with the involvement of other colleges and universities.
In addition, it is planned to diversify the lectures, noted Eremić.
