It recently became known that Belarus has once again allowed the sale of washing powder, which is popular with many citizens.
Products from domestic manufacturers have been officially approved for sale since October 1 of this year.
The relevant information was made public by the press service of the State Committee for Standardization of the Republic.
According to the information provided, the washing powder for colored laundry Diva from the manufacturer "Barkhim" (Baranovichi) has been "amnestied".
Earlier, in mid-July, this powder was banned due to its excessive foaming capacity.
At that time, the State Standard reported that the product labeling stated that the powder could be used in all types of washing machines.
But, as it turned out, it could not be used for front-loading units due to exceeding the permissible level of foaming capacity.
Exceeding this indicator misleads the buyer regarding the purpose, quality and safety of the powder.
At the same time, the department noted that the risk of safe use of detergent in front-loading washing machines cannot be ruled out.
But now the ban has been lifted. From October 1, the said washing powder can again be sold in Belarus.
