A decision has been made to start the heating season in another city in Belarus.
As of today, heat supply has begun to social facilities in Vitebsk.
BELTA reports this with reference to the Main Directorate of Housing and Public Utilities of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.
Where the heating was turned on in Vitebsk
As reported by the Main Directorate of Housing and Public Utilities of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, heating began to be supplied to kindergartens, schools, hospitals, museums and other social facilities on October 1.
In the regions, local authorities will make the relevant decisions independently, BELTA writes.
In the housing stock of Vitebsk, heating will be turned on when the average daily temperature drops to +8 degrees.
Earlier it was reported that on October 1, heating was turned on in Minsk in kindergartens, schools, specialized educational and sports, medical and health care institutions, social security institutions, hotels, libraries, state archives, and museums.
