The Belarusian Republican Bar Association (BRBA) warns citizens about scammers.
The corresponding warning was posted on the BRKA Telegram channel.
How do scammers operate?
As reported by the BRKA, fraudulent advertising appeared today on the social networks Instagram and Facebook (banned in Russia, owned by the Meta company, which is recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation).
In the advertisement, which may also be distributed in other electronic sources, the scammers, on behalf of BRKA, offer citizens who have suffered from fraudsters assistance in returning the money invested in the fraudulent scheme.
To do this, citizens are asked to fill out a specific form.
BRCA warns that this advertisement has no relation to the Bar Association or the Bar Association of Belarus as a whole.
We urge you to be vigilant and not to fall for the scammers’ schemes, BRKA added.
