From October 6 of this year, an adjusted list of goods that are not considered goods for personal use will be in effect in Belarus.
The information is primarily relevant for citizens who import such products when crossing the border.
The list has been expanded to include a number of goods, the press service of the State Customs Committee reported on its official Telegram channel.
In particular, from October 6, carousels, swings, and tailor's dummies will not be considered goods for personal use.
The same applies to household appliances, explosives and flammable substances, and pyrotechnics imported in disassembled form.
The list has also been expanded to include products used in beauty salons, spa centers, and hairdressers.
At the same time, certain products, on the contrary, are moving into the category of “goods for personal use”.
These are, for example, some machines, mechanisms, and equipment that Belarusians “use in their everyday life.”
In particular, “within the established characteristics” it will be possible to import a snow blower, lawn mower, garden shredder, sharpening (grinding) machine, etc. as goods for personal use.
A complete list of goods that are not classified as goods for personal use can be found on the website of the State Customs Committee.
