At the moment, the issue of initiating a criminal case under Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation – causing death by negligence – is being decided.

Journalists learned that during interrogation, the 34-year-old man stated that he had not ventilated the house well after spraying the product in the rooms.

It is also specified that at that time one small window was open in the house.

The head of the family himself turned out to be the only one who took a pill for stomach pain when he felt ill.

As a result, the parents and four children were hospitalized. The children died.

A few days later, a dead kitten was found near the house, with traces of a substance containing dichlorvos found on its fur.

There are suspicions that the insect repellent could have been counterfeited, which has happened before.
