Belavia will suspend flights to Murmansk and Makhachkala for the winter period.
This information was announced by the head of the marketing and foreign economic activity department of Belavia, Ekaterina Radishevskaya, on September 26 at the second meeting of the working group on tourism within the framework of the Union State of Belarus and Russia.

What Belavia said about suspending flights to Murmansk and Makhachkala
As Radishevskaya explained, Russia is a key market for Belavia.
Currently, regular flights are operated to 8 Russian airports.
There are 40-48 flights per week to Moscow (Vnukovo, Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo), 21 to St. Petersburg, 6 to Kaliningrad, 2 to Sochi, Kazan and Yekaterinburg.
Flights have also been launched from Brest to Moscow (Sheremetyevo) and from Gomel to Moscow (Sheremetyevo, Vnukovo) and St. Petersburg.
In addition, there are two seasonal destinations – Murmansk and Makhachkala.
The flight to Murmansk was opened last year, suspended for the winter, and resumed in the summer.
The flight to Makhachkala, opened this year, is also planned to be suspended in winter and resumed in summer.
