On September 26, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko approved the appointment of new heads of a number of government organizations.
The management of MTZ, Belenergo, Belvtorchermet and the Vitebsk State Academy of Veterinary Medicine has changed.

What appointments have been agreed upon?
Sergei Avramenko, who until now held the post of first deputy general director of the enterprise, became the general director of MTZ.
Belenergo is headed by Andrey Panchenko, who previously headed Vitebskenergo.
Ivan Demidov has been approved as the General Director of the Belarusian State Association for the Procurement, Processing and Supply of Scrap and Waste of Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metals – General Director of Belvtorchermet.
Before that, he headed the planning and economic analysis department of BMZ.
Olga Gorlova, who previously held the position of academic secretary at the university, became the rector of the Vitebsk State Academy of Veterinary Medicine.
