The register of dangerous products prohibited for import and sale in Belarus has been expanded with the well-known Russian sunflower oil.
This decision was made by the State Committee for Standardization.
The department's press service reported this on Telegram.
What oil is prohibited for sale
The ban included unrefined first grade sunflower oil “Sloboda”.
This product is manufactured by the open joint-stock company EFKO (Belgorod region of the Russian Federation).
It was established that the oil does not meet the requirements of TR TS and GOST. According to the test results, the peroxide value was 14 mol with an acceptable value of no more than 10 mol.
The order to terminate the validity of conformity assessment documents and to prohibit import, circulation and sale comes into force on September 23.
