Despite the fact that September pleases Belarusians with practically summer weather, from time to time the latter throws up surprises.
It is for this reason that forecasters have issued a storm warning in two regions of Belarus today, as well as on September 18 and 19.
Belhydromet reported this, noting that “a storm warning about a dangerous hydrometeorological phenomenon” is in effect for the Gomel and Mogilev regions.
It is noted that during the specified three days, the extreme fire danger (fifth class of fire hazard) will remain in most of the named regions.
As for the weather for today, September 17, it will be partly cloudy and without significant precipitation.
Winds are reported to be easterly, ranging from light to moderate. Air temperatures across the country range from +23 to +28 degrees.
As for the cities, in Minsk, Mogilev and Gomel the day promises to be partly cloudy, without precipitation and comfortable in terms of heat - from +25 to +27 degrees.
Almost the same weather is likely in Brest, Grodno and Vitebsk, except for the temperature – from +24 to +26 degrees.
