In Belarus, they are planning to build another pulp and cardboard mill (currently, such a mill operates in Svetlogorsk).
The construction is planned to be based on Chinese technologies.
This was reported by the Belta agency, citing a statement by the deputy head of the Bellesbumprom concern, Sergei Kasyanov.
According to the specialist, the new enterprise is designed for capacities that are at least equal to those that exist today.
It is planned to create a new pulp mill with a capacity no less than the existing production capacity (that is, about 400-500, maybe more tons per year), said Kasyanov.
He added: plans also include the creation of a new production facility for wood chipboards with a capacity of at least 600,000 cubic meters per year.
As for the location for the new pulp and cardboard mill, it is still being selected.
This will be a completely new plant, the top manager assured.
